I’m making a cool thing because I need more cool things in my portfolio. Don’t look though, it’s not done.
I’m all like “I’m just gonna doodle a bit and see what happens” and then an hour and a half later I have something kinda cool and then I’m like “I reaaaally should’ve been recording”.
More unused work from that thing I couldn’t talk about but can now.
I’ve been contributing pretty art work to Insert Quarterly, a fresh new site for some deeper, creatively written gaming content. We’re bringing some really cool opinions, experiences, and stories from all kinds of people in the gaming sphere 3 times a week (I’m particularly fond of the Ode to Player 2).
So that’s what I’ve been up to on the art end. It’s been fun pushing my work a little bit, trying new things, and working within shorter timelines. I’m starting to get into a rhythm with it so the personal work will start flowing again soon. Until then you can see a regular stream of my stuff over at IQ and read some cool stuff while you’re at it.
A little unused concept from an exciting new project I can hopefully talk about soon.

Little known fact: the Gameboy had a lesser known follow-up called the Gamebay that was really underrated. Also, another little fact for you: I just made that up.

It’s half past midnight and the creative juices are flowin’.
